About our firm
ADA (Alistair Dransfield & Associates) Financial Consultants was first established in 1981 and is one of the town's oldest and most respected firms of Independent Financial Advisers.
We have five qualified Advisers, all having worked in the Southport area for many years. Our experienced and friendly staff also compliments the professionalism of the firm.
Our clients are spread mainly over the North West of England, and our vast experience allows us to provide a range of services tailored to suit the needs of both individual and corporate clients.
Professional Connections
During our time in Southport we have developed connections with the Legal Profession, the Accountancy Profession, the Estate Agency Profession, and the Banking Profession. We are able therefore to introduce clients to experienced professionals who all act in the client's interests and with great concern for client well being.
Initial Meetings
Arranging an initial meeting is simple. An Adviser will meet with you to discuss your current financial position without any cost or obligation. A report will then be prepared, followed by a further meeting to discuss and act upon, if required, any recommendations.
Regular Review Meetings
Once decisions are taken and acted upon, it is not the end of the service provided by ADA Financial Consultants, but the start.
We believe in ongoing meetings to assess changes in personal circumstances, and attitudes to risk. Most of our recommendations are flexible, and it is vitally important that regular reviews are held to make changes when appropriate.
Whilst we will make appointment dates, you will largely be responsible for the content of the meeting and therefore the time required.
Cost
We will always offer you the choice of paying by fee for the advice given, or you can elect for the service provider to pay us the fee, which could reduce the eventual benefit of the product selected.
